ServiceNow and Nvidia have made Arc, an enterprise agent for routine work, generally available. It works across email and Teams on Mac. ServiceNow’s governance tools and Nvidia’s OpenShell are what limit what the agent can reach.
General availability is not autonomy
Arc is a product you can buy and turn on, not a research preview. The controls named in the announcement are ServiceNow’s own governance layer and Nvidia OpenShell.
“Routine work” is the scope they are selling. The announcement summarized today does not list a measured error rate.
An admin who already runs ServiceNow and is being asked to let an agent read mail and Teams.
